RMIT Mentoring Privacy Policy

  • RMIT values the privacy of every individual and handles personal information in accordance with the privacy principles contained in the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). The information will be used by authorised staff for the purpose for which it was collected and will be protected against unauthorised access and use. Primary Purpose for Collection

  • The information being collected will be used by program administrators to engage, match and communicate with participants, and to monitor and keep a record of program relationships. The information will also be used to update participant contact details on the University’s database so that we can inform you about events, benefits, appeals, and other activities that may be of interest to you.

  • Please note that correspondence between parties within this mentoring system may be accessed by RMIT and the system administrator under certain circumstances.
